Step
5: Select Dial-up to the Internet.
Step 6: Click the Next button.

7: Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually,
or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN).
Step 8: Click the Next button.

9: Select I connect through a phone line and a modem.
Step 10: Click the Next button.
Step
11: In the Area Code field, type the area code of your local
access number.
Step 12: In the Telephone number field, type your local access
number.
Step 13: Click the Next button.
Step
14: In the User name field, type your username.
Step 15: In the Password field, type your password.
Step 16: Click the Next button.
Step
17: In the Connection Name field, type in the name of your Internet
Service Provider.
Step 18: Click the Next button.
Step
19: Click the No radio button in the Do you want to set up an
Internet mail account now area.
NOTE:
If you need to set up a mail account, please reference the Setting
Up E-Mail in Outlook Express section of our support area.
Step 20: Click the Next button.
Step
21: Check the box next to To connect to the Internet immediately...
if you would like to connect right away to the Internet.
Step 22: Click the Finish button.
Step
23: You have successfully created a Dial-Up connection for Windows
2000.
